Topic: Time:	shoplifting 45 minutes
Main aims:           National standards:	By the end of the lesson, learners will be able: Listen and identify main idea of the listening Identify specific information and fill in the gaps Formulate target questions from the scene given And answer them by using past continuous tense confidently. უცხ.ს. Personal aims:	To reduce TTT To improve listening skills, listening for gist and for specific information To maximize students participation
Class profile:	A monolingual class of teenagers ,with the same interests and language background 2 students Girls: 1 Boys: 1
Assumptions:	Students are good at understanding main idea of listening. They know past simple and are familiar with past continuous
Anticipated problems:	Students may find it difficult to use past tense and past continuous together. Solution: give them some grammar guide.   Students may find difficulties understanding key wards Solution: provide support at pre-listening stage by giving them wards about crimes and criminals and practice on them

Use past continuous tens     Formative: observation and giving positive feedback Peer assessment   Tape-recorder, text book, a poster (picture of shoplifting scene on it, a picture with a scene in a supermarket, pens, board.

Then students compare their works to each other     Teacher writes Ss answers on the board to check there understanding and provide support       Students fill in the gapped text from their memory than listen and check.       Teacher asks students  some questions to check their understanding and give support       Students are given a picture of supermarket which needs a new security officer. Ss look at the scene for a minute,  then close books and work  with their partner to ask each other what was people doing in the supermarket by using past continuous.     T  asks questions: The old man was eating Yes or  No     Think of an accident that has happened in their life and write about it.
